1. GENERAL USE OF WEBSITE

The following terms and conditions apply to the purchase and use of tickets and admission to Charlie and The Chocolate Factory (the “Event”) as organised by Broadway International Group (“the Producer”).

By accessing this website charliemusicalhk.com (“the Website”) you unreservedly accept the statutory provisions in force and the terms set out below.

If you do not wish to agree to these Terms and Conditions, do not access or use any part of the Website. The Website is owned and maintained by Broadway International Group (BIG).

BIG may revise and update these Terms of Use at any time without notice by posting the amended terms to the Website. Your continued use of the Website means that you accept and agree to the revised Terms of Use.

In the event there are inconsistencies between the English and Chinese Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.

1.1 INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE

1.1.1 The information provided on the Website is for guidance and reference only.

1.1.2 BIG strives to ensure that the information is as accurate, error-free and as up-to-date as possible. However, BIG does not provide any warranty concerning the accuracy, details, or the timeliness or comprehensive nature of this information.

1.1.3 As such, BIG disclaims any liability from any harm which may result from a lack of precision or accuracy in the information which is available on the Website; any damage including but not limited to computer equipment, tablet or mobile phone damage following a visit to the Website; and any harm which may result from a third party fraudulently penetrating the Website

1.1.4 If for whatsoever reason the Website is down or not functioning correctly, the BIG cannot be held liable.

1.1.5 These terms and conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR, and any claim filed under these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Hong Kong SAR.

1.2 HYPERLINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

1.2.1 For a more convenient user experience, hyperlinks to external third-party websites have been included in the Website.

1.2.2 If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that they have their own practices and policies. We encourage you to read the privacy policies or statements of these websites in order to understand your rights.

1.2.3 We accept no responsibility or liability for any practices of third-party websites.

1.3 INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

1.3.1 All components which have been included on the Website besides social content featured in any section that features content from publicly available social pages, including but not limited to images, graphics, text, logos and trademarks are the intellectual property of BIG. It is illegal to reproduce these components wholly or partially without prior written consent from the BIG.

1.3.2 The social content featured in the Website, including images, text and comments has been curated from publicly available social pages. While due diligence has been taken to curate and review the social content, the Producer is not liable for any harm or damage caused by the social content.

2. SHOW TERMS & CONDITIONS

2.1 This production is recommended for audiences aged 6 and above. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children aged 3 or below will not be admitted into the auditorium.

2.2 Tickets may only be purchased via our official ticketing partners, and are subject to the relevant partner’s terms and conditions.

2.3 Each ticket will admit only one person. Seats are numbered, and ticket holders must sit in their allocated seat.

2.4 Your ticket should be kept with you and produced upon request by venue staff. Validation of the ticket holder’s identity (e.g., valid photo ID and the credit card used for purchase) may be requested at the gate.

2.5 The Event reserves the right to alter admission prices without notice.

2.6 No re-entry. The ticket grants a one-time entry into the venue, with no right of re-entry (strictly no readmission).

2.7 Latecomers will not be admitted until a suitable break in the show. Once the performance starts, latecomers will be seated at the discretion of management at a suitable break in the performance. At the start of each Act, there will be an entry lockout for up to 10 minutes.

2.8 Please be seated prior to the performance start time to avoid auditorium lockouts.

Venue doors open 1 hour before the show, with access to seats available from 30 minutes before the show.

2.9 Duration of each show is approximately 145 minutes, including a 20-minute intermission.

2.10 Unauthorised photography, sound and video recordings are prohibited inside the auditorium.

2.11 Photography or videography is not permitted at any time during the performance, including the use of phones.

2.12 From time to time the Event or other authorised parties may carry out photography and/or video recording and/or other monitoring within the premises which may feature visitors. The Event and its affiliates reserve the right to use these materials in perpetuity in any promotional, advertising or publicity material in any format.

2.13 Smoking, eating and drinking are not allowed inside the event venue.

2.14 Disorderly conduct, noncompliance with security measures, violation of any rules, policies, or regulations, or unauthorised use of a ticket may result in denial of admission or removal from the Venue. Such decisions may be made by the Event and/or Venue management and security staff, acting reasonably.

2.15 In the event of cancellation of a performance, any refund entitlement (if applicable) will be determined in accordance with these Terms & Conditions and processed in accordance with the applicable Ticketing Partner’s procedures and terms.

2.16 In the event of adverse weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances the Event performances may be delayed, interrupted, postponed or cancelled (including but not limited to technical issues, venue issues, safety or security concerns). Except where a performance is cancelled, tickets will not be refunded, and no compensation will be payable for any delay or interruption. Any refund or exchange arrangements (if applicable) will be communicated via the official ticketing partner.

2.17 The advertised cast, line-up and running order may be subject to change, and tickets remain non-refundable and non-exchangeable in the event of such changes.

2.18 Ticket holders are requested to comply with all house rules.

2.19 Each adult ticket holder is responsible for their own safety and the safety of any children and personal belongings under their care.

3. PRIVACY & PERSONAL DATA

3.1 Personal data may be collected (a) by the Event/Producers via this website (for example, when you submit enquiries or sign up for updates), and/or (b) by the applicable Ticketing Partner in connection with your ticket purchase and ticket administration.

3.2 Personal data may be used for processing requests or enquiries, administering the Event, communicating with you (including administrative messages), internal business purposes, research and statistical purposes, and for legal, safety or security purposes.

3.3 Provision of personal data for mandatory fields is necessary; if you do not provide such personal data, we may not be able to provide the products or services you request.

3.4 Personal data may be transferred to third parties involved in fulfilling these purposes, or as required by law.

3.5 Where your ticket purchase is made via a Ticketing Partner, their privacy policy will apply to the personal data they collect and process.
